Sta-Tafel

Sta-Tafel

I’m Sta-Tafel, the alter ego of Dutch artist Hadewin den Herder. As a DJ and producer, I’m drawn to the rougher and more restless sides of electronic music.

My DJ sets move between electro, dub, techno, breakbeat and everything in between driven by heavy grooves, hypnotic rhythms and unexpected turns. I like to keep things raw, playful and in motion.

When I’m not behind the decks, I make music of my own, mainly exploring electro and slower, more atmospheric forms of electronic music.

For bookings, you can reach me via the email address listed under Contact.

Music for Film

Music for Film

I created the intro song for OPIA, a short film made by a friend. The goal was to create a fitting musical introduction that sets the tone and atmosphere of the film from the very beginning.

Original Music – MONO

Original Music – MONO

For MONO, a short film about identity and the struggle with oneself, I created the first track together with Mees van der Berg. We used layered voices as the main musical element, starting beautifully and gradually breaking apart until nothing remains. This reflects the character’s internal struggle and the feeling of losing a sense of identity.

ST. TSEIZER

ST. TSEIZER

Step into the world of St. Tseizer, an electronic music duo exploring the boundaries of sound through modular and analogue synthesizers. Their music is energetic, playful, and immersive, often blending bright melodies with a raw and experimental edge. With a strong passion for live performance and improvisation, Mees van den Berg and Hadewin den Herder, both originally from Zutphen, create a unique sonic experience that takes audiences on an unpredictable journey through electronic music.
